We rang in the new year by drinking a beer and playing on our new Kindle Fires all night. We are wild and crazy, y’all. That’s okay, though. I’ve just been informed by a reliable source that I already won New Year’s Eve, so that means I don’t have to try that hard anymore.

We headed to Portland for the Saturday Market this morning with Jim’s folks, and our big find was Guyot Family Farms. They do homemade jams, jellies, and syrups, all organic stuff. They had a cute little stand set up at the Saturday Market, and Jim and I wandered by, not paying much attention.
