
Christopher Hitchens died December 15, 2011. Almost immediately his name, and the name of one of his most popular books, "God Is Not Great," started trending on Twitter. And then, suddenly, it wasn't anymore.

If Google avoids slamming down a bunch of arbitrary rules, spamming up your stream with ads and crap, and avoids games -- or at least, for the love of adorable puppies, keeps them from junking up my stream and notifications -- a lot of people could end up jumping Facebook's ship for Google+. Whatever happens, it's going to be interesting to watch. Also, I have invites, and I'm not afraid to use them. Want to try out Google+? The Commuter hosted the ONPA Collegiate Day at LBCC today, offering five different seminars on various topics of journalisty-type interest, including a seminar Ashley and I did on WordPress. The awards ceremony was great, too. The Commuter took 15 awards.
