No matter which way you run the numbers, the math isn’t working out. Since 2001, tuition at Linn Benton Community College has doubled, while the State budgeting for community colleges has steadily decreased. Enrollment at LBCC has exploded. (Need percentage number.) You might be tempted to think that the increasing enrollment numbers would even out for the budget shortfalls, but Benton Center Director Jeff Davis (Sp? Title?) says that’s not the case.
