Wait, What?

If I’m understanding this correctly, a McCain campaign volunteer told reporters (or the cops, who told the reporters, whatever), that she went to an ATM, where she was attacked by a black man. Said black man noted the McCain bumper sticker on the volunteer’s car, and beat the shit out of her, including carving a “B” on her face with a knife, claiming that the “B” was “for Barack”.
     No, really.
Because muggers? Big on the politics.
Okay, so, clearly, this is a hoax. It’s already been labeled so in the media, and even more fun, the McCain campaign is behind the hoax. As in, probably directly responsible for it. As in, it was their idea. Someone in the campaign dreamed this crap up, and actually thought it would fly.
No, really. I’m not making this up.
And seriously, this should cause us all to take a second long, hard look at Sarah Palin, because apparently she’s got the kind of stupid that’s contagious. I don’t remember the McCain campaign being this badly run before they signed her on. We should take that as a warning.
Also, whoever carved the “B” on the volunteer’s face — got it backwards. Dear Jebus, please, tell me she did it herself in the mirror. I just don’t want to hear that another person was that stupid.
Yaddayadda, fill in your own horrified race-baiting opinions here. And people are still going to vote for this guy. He should just stop. “Senator McCain? This is Java calling from Michigan. Yeah. Just stop. No, seriously. You’re a joke now. Stop it. You’re embarrassing us.”

Panic In The Ranks

On October 23, 2008, in Controversies, Politics, by Marci Sischo

I love to see this kind of thing. It indicates to me that our friendly neighborhood conservatives are getting a little panicked by the popularity of the Obama/Biden ticket. They’re attacking it any silly way they can.

By not obeying our Federal Law, Obama to lose right to be Democratic candidate. Barack Obama has many many friends. The media literally ( except FOX) acts as a branch of the Democratic Party. Without such support, right now there would be no Barack Obama bid for the Presidency of the United States.
Keep this in mind the next time you hear anyone say the birth certificate controversy is over. It has just begun! Obama is now in contempt of court and believes that he should not prove to the Federal government that he was born in America. Is this not totally ridiculous or what?

More worrying by far, to me at least, is how many people I hear saying, in effect, that they “won’t vote for no nigger”. The fact that Obama’s a black guy just scares the shit out of us small-town white folk, apparently. I even called a guy on it at the coffee counter the other day. “So, basically, you aren’t going to vote for Obama ’cause he’s a black guy.”
”Oh, not at all. He’s just . . . inexperienced!”
”What, compared to Sarah Palin?” I asked, and believe me, there was a definite edge of sarcasm there.
”She was a mayor.” He said.
”Right.” I said, rolled my eyes, and walked away. There’s just no reasoning with some people, and I’m afraid that’s going to effect the vote a lot more than people are counting on.
